The Australasian Institute of Marine Surveyors (AIMS) is the largest industry body in our region for professional marine surveyors and their cross-sector colleagues. The AIMS is a not-for-profit membership-based institute which allows members access to a wealth of knowledge, training, support, networking opportunities and professional accreditation; facilitates the link between industry consumers and quality professional surveyors via the membership database on our website; and enforces strict codes of conduct and ethical behaviour.

There are three categories available: an individual or business; industry groups; and government agencies. While demonstrating support for the establishment and maintenance of the highest levels of skills and performance in marine surveying. An AIMS
Affiliate also attracts a range of direct benefits.

• recognition in the quarterly AIMS magazine (Shipshape) in a feature article;
